Access Log Manager
Learn more about the Access Log Manager as well as the details that you will find within it.
An access log is a detailed list of all the files that were accessed by the visitors of a certain Internet site. Every single file which was requested in some way shall be listed, so if you have just one webpage with 3 embedded images, one video and one embedded text file, as an example, the access log shall contain a total of six entries - one for any of the six files which were accessed when the website visitor opened the webpage. A log normally offers the file name and path, the date, along with the visitor’s Operating System, Internet browser and IP address. Sometimes you could also find the referrer sites that sent the visitors to your site. The data an access log file contains is in human-readable plain text format. It can also be processed by special software on a personal computer and used to write reports on the functionality of a site, independent of the web stats your web hosting server may have generated.
Access Log Manager in Cloud Web Hosting
When you order a cloud web hosting from us, you shall be able to choose if access logs should be generated and for which domains or subdomains inside your account this should be done. You could enable this feature from the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia Control Panel, incorporated with all shared accounts. Every domain you host or subdomain you create will be listed there and you see an On/Off option next to each and every one of them, so you can effortlessly activate or disable the generation of access logs individually for every site that you have. You could save a log to your personal computer by clicking on the Download link that you shall see in the same exact section of the CP. The link shall be available even after you disable the log generation, so you will still have access to the data collected by our system.
